1. How will you know if my child needs extra help or has Special Educational Needs and/or a disability (SEND)?	We have staff who are trained in SEND and we follow all of the nursery procedures to identify any needs.
2. How will you support my child’s learning and development and how will I be involved in this?	Your child's learning and development will be specific to them, we will plan around your child's interest and will send observations over to you. On the observations we offer home learning for you to further your child's learning and development.
3. How will you support my child to settle into the nursery?	We offer settling in sessions before your child is due to start, this is an opportunity for your child to familiarise themselves with the nursery and the staff who will be caring for them. You will also have the opportunity to meet the team and develop bonds with the staff caring for your child.
4. What specialist services and expertise are available or accessed by you?	We work closely with the Early Years team.
5. What experience and training do practitioners supporting children with SEND have?	We have three SEND officers in the nursery, and all staff have worked closely with the Early Years SEND team and have all participated in specific training around SEND.
6. How will you cater for my child’s medical and/or dietary needs?	We cater for every child's medical or dietary need, we will adjust to suit your child's needs.
7. How will my child be included in trips and other additional activities?	All children are included to participate in any activities, we provide all of the resources for any activities but may ask for a small contribution towards trips. Children are regularly taken out in the local community with the use of multi-seat prams.
8. How will your resources be allocated and matched to my child’s individual needs?	Our rooms are set out in a way that children have continuous access to all areas and all of the resources are age appropriate and are suited to support every child's individual needs
9. How will you prepare and support my child’s next steps into a new setting/school?	We will communicate with the setting/school that your child will be moving to. We will share information over the phone regarding your child and we will also complete a transition form for you to sign and to take to the setting/school with them. Any child leaving our setting to go to reception, we work with them around feeling and how they are feeling about school, we introduce school uniforms into our home corner for the children to explore and we also have meet and greets with the schools.
